Bhagavad Gita Parayana MahaYagna

Continuing the divine vision and sankalpa of Parama Pujya Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji of Avadhoota Datta Peetham, new batch orientation for Gita Mahayagna will commence on August 10th. The goal is to have the kids and adults memorize all 18 chapters (700 Verses) by end of May next year. As indicated in the registration form only adults have an option for fluent reading. This will definitely be an intensive program, but by lord's and Sadguru's blessings and grace and with sincere efforts, participants can be assured of sure success.

Orientation

Orientation will be conducted on Thursday, August 10th 6:15 - 8:00pm: Orientation in Karya Siddhi Hanuman Temple, Yagashala (entrance neat Navagrahas) followed by Q&A

The goals of the orientation are:

  • To understand the guidelines, expectations and efforts needed, orientation is mandatory for all participants.
  • Seeking Lord's and Sadguru's grace for an auspicious start of this new batch and for its successful completion, a brief Sankalpa will be performed at 6:15 PM infront of Ganapathi shrine, followed by detailed orientation and Q&A session in Yagashala.
  • To understand the guidelines, expectations and efforts needed, orientation is mandatory for all participants.
  • Sharply from 6:30 PM onwards all important details for this new batch will be discussed. So be on time to NOT MISS all valuable information

    • Schedule

    Initial 10 days classes will be conducted daily from Aug 10th - Aug 20th (* No class on Sat, Aug 12th) In general, due to major festivals, schedule may be impacted and will be communicated at that time
    Weekday - 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM
    Weekend - Sun 5:00 PM - 7:00PM in JMH.

    Timing for September classes:
    Monday & Wednesday from 7 to 8pm.
    Sundays - 4:00 PM - 8:00pm for assessments.
    Starting September competitions will be conducted on the last Saturday of every month. Sign-up genius will be sent during the last week for signing up individual slots.

    Timing for October classes:
    Monday & Wednesday from 6:30pm to 8pm.
    Sundays - 4:00 PM - 8:00pm for assessments.

    Timing for November & December:
    Monday & Wednesday from 6:30 to 8 pm.
    Sundays - 4:00 PM - 8:00pm for assessments.

    Thanksgiving (Nov), Winter (Dec), Spring (Mar) breaks schedule:
    Camps will be conducted during these breaks and students must completely be available to attend these classes daily for longer hours.

    Fees

    Below are the details of Fees:

  • Initial Registration of $50 per person is non refundable and that includes first month classes.
  • After first month, 8 payments of $50 each ($400) will be setup as recurring payment.
  • Total fees (including the registration) are $450 for the Parayana Mahayagna per student.
  • Registration fee of $50 can be paid immediately after Thur, Aug 10th orientation session.
  • Only those who make initial registration payment of $50 by Aug 10th will be considered as attending classes and future communication will be sent only to them.

    • This is a great opportunity for the kids and adults to memorize complete Gita, which is an essence of all Upanishads. Those of you interested to dedicate yourself for the study of Srimad Bhagavad Gita a life time's achievement, in under 10 months, please attend on Thursday (08/10).
