Memorization Tips

Valuable tips to improve memory by Sri Swamiji

  • Studying from 4:30 to 6 AM early in the morning will improve memory because it is peaceful time to study.
  • Sleep at least by 10:30 PM. 7 hours of sleep is enough to improve memory.
  • Stop eating food beyond 7PM, so that digestion becomes good.
  • Maintaining discipline in day-to-day life will improve our memory. Do not depend only on mantras or yantras.
  • Students must develop the confidence that they can read and remember and can write.
  • Students should avoid the feeling that they will forget whatever they have studied and should not be scared.
  • If we come across any difficult problem, we should not worry that it will be tough. Instead we should face it.
  • Do not read in the last minute. Try to relax before the exam.
  • Sri Swamiji also improved His memory by reading slokas 7 times from the top to bottom and from bottom to top again.
